While we’re sleeping
On a Sunday early morning I woke up with this melody. After working it out, I gave it the name "While we 're sleeping". It ‘s my first own song I ever wrote in 2019. Recorded it already 3 times from scratch revision 23 and still not satisfied to release the full version. While I hope to finish it this year, you can enjoy the piano version and the lyrics.
To Make You Feel My Love
“To make you feel my love" a cover from Bob Dylan in the version from Adele by "Evelien" or for the friends "Eefje Jacobs". Recorded this with my daugther when she was 16 years old as a trial. When she became 18 thought it would be funny to do something with it and was released in 2020 as Merry Xmas and Happy New Year greatings.
Blijf bij ons
For our mother’s 75th birthday we sang the song “When we were young” from “Adele” with Dutch lyrics especially written for her. We did the act after a long walk with her friends in the park and masked ourselves a bit to make the surprise bigger. (PS: She didn’t recognize us!)
Thank you Adele for this beautiful song. The first time I heard it I knew I was going to do something with it.
